This timeless cry echoes louder today than ever before.
For nearly 20 years, OneWay Africa has answered the call to raise and send missionaries into Ghana’s unreached communities. From our mission base in Accra, we have trained dozens of passionate African labourers, men and women who now serve in some of the hardest-to-reach areas of the continent.
But the mission is far from finished.
We’ve harvested much, yes, but what remains outweighs what’s been done.
To make the work lighter and the reach deeper, we must intentionally raise more harvesters, men and women equipped in both heart and skill to take the gospel to the edges.
The call is clear: build men for the work, send them into the harvest.
WHY THE PHILIP CENTRE NORTH
The Northern regions of Ghana are home to 17 unreached people groups, with millions who have never heard the name of Jesus. These regions are spiritually dry, yet open and ripe for harvest.
Yet the distance, cultural context, and cost of training missionaries from the South to serve in the North slows the mission.
That’s why we are launching the Philip Centre North a second missionary training centre, located 400 miles north of Accra, right in the heart of the unreached.
The vision is simple and strategic:

Raise labourers from the North, for the North.

Provide accessible, context-based training to equip them effectively.

Build a permanent base that will serve the mission for generations.
PROGRESS OF THE TRAINING BASE
Philip Centre North is coming up before our eyes! The need is so urgent that we’ve already started using the spaces for training even though construction isn't complete. We are still raising funds for the completion of this campaign project. Every dollar you give will have an immediate impact, helping us train more harvest workers to reach the abundant harvest in northern Ghana.
