A Generation Awakened

LSM Burkina Faso Ignites Hearts for the Great Commission

Introduction

For one powerful week in Burkina Faso, the Livingstone School of Missions became more than a classroom—it became a launchpad. Thirty-one believers from over seventy different ministries gathered with one hunger: to be activated for the Great Commission. And God answered.

By His grace, we partnered with LSM 2018 alumni, Mr. Jean Ouedrago, who warmly hosted the training in his church. What followed was an unforgettable move of God.

Experience Highlights

  • 31 leaders activated for the Great CommissionParticipants came in as church workers and ministry leaders—but left as mission-minded witnesses, ready to engage their communities with boldness.

  • LSM Alumni Facilitators Took the LeadThe training was facilitated by former LSM students—living proof of multiplication in action. Leaders like Pastor Hakim Zongo and Mrs. Flora poured into the next generation, creating a powerful cycle of discipleship.

  • 3 Practical One-on-One Evangelism OutreachesStudents didn’t just learn theory—they practiced. Through three practical outreach experiences, they gained confidence in sharing the Gospel personally and powerfully.

  • Over 100 People ReachedBy the end of the week, the students had shared the Gospel with more than 100 people, and over 20 gave their lives to Christ. Heaven rejoiced.

Personal Reflection

“The people were hungry and thirsty when we went out,” one student shared. “From what we learned, we realized that sharing the Gospel one-on-one isn’t difficult—it’s actually simple and powerful.”

What once seemed intimidating became a joyful assignment.

Missional Insight

Jesus said, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few.” (Luke 10:2)In Burkina Faso, we saw God raise up laborers—bold, equipped, and ready. This training is not just a moment; it is a movement that will echo across cities, villages, and generations.

Our prayer is that this work will raise radicals for the Great Commission and that the name of Jesus will be exalted throughout Burkina Faso.
