A Harvest of Grace at LSM Togo

God Moved Powerfully in Subusitu Lume

This year’s Livingstone School of Missions (LSM) training in Togo was a powerful reminder of what God can do when His people gather with a heart to learn, serve, and obey. Hosted in partnership with the James family and Life Church International in Subusitu Lume, the training brought together a committed team and a group of passionate students ready to be equipped for the Great Commission.

A United Effort for the Gospel

Seven members of the OneWay Africa team—six from our Ghana office and our partner, Pastor Tijin Djoko of SIF—traveled to Togo to lead this year’s sessions. Their goal was simple: to train, encourage, and mobilize believers for mission work.

Eight students attended the program, each one eager to grow spiritually and practically. Over the course of the training, they learned how to share the Gospel boldly and compassionately in real-life situations.

Lives Transformed Through Student Outreach

The impact of the training quickly extended beyond the classroom. Through evangelistic outreaches, the students shared the message of Jesus with 102 people, and we rejoice that 45 individuals accepted Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Each encounter was a testimony of God’s grace moving through ordinary believers willing to step out in faith.

A Calling Renewed

One of the most inspiring moments came from a student who had long felt called to serve in Sudan. During the training, God confirmed and renewed that calling in a powerful way, filling them with fresh passion to pursue mission work in one of the world’s most challenging regions.

Stories like this represent the heartbeat of LSM—helping believers discover and respond to God’s purpose for their lives.
